BITTERROOT NATIONAL FOREST 1801 N. First Street Hamilton, MT 59840 Forest Supervisor's Order Emergency Area Closure Pursuant to Title 36 Code of Federal Regulation 261.50(a), the following acts are prohibited as described below, within the West Fork Ranger District on the Bitterroot National Forest. These restrictions are in addition to those enumerated in Subpart A, Part 261, Title 36, Code of Federal Regulations and will remain in effect from August 16th, 2013 until rescinded. 36 CFR 261.53(e)- Special Closures: It is prohibited to enter or be upon any area which is closed for the protection of "Public Health and Safety" (Title 36 CFR 261.53(e)). The purpose for these restrictions is to provide for public safety due to wildfires.
